2 Hospitalized After Car Strikes Ambulance, Rolls

Posted on 30 November 2012 by wyoskibum

ANNAPOLIS, MD – Two people are in area hospitals after the car they were driving sideswiped an Annapolis City ambulance, lost control and rolled over several times.

The ambulance and car were both traveling outbound on Route 665  about 4:30am this morning when the car failed to merge into the right lane (this is where 665 narrows from 3 lanes to 2 just past Chinquapin Round Road), striking the ambulance.

There was minor damage to the ambulance. One patient was transported to shock-trauma via ground and the other was taken to Anne Arundel Medical Center.

There is no update on the condition of the victims or on the cause of the accident.
